But he's persistent as that beating of that heart in your chest

And he don't stop 'til you sign that dotted line

So when I looked him in the eye to say I'm not your guy

He snarled like a beast engulfed in miseries

And I remained stone cold in the face

I am unimpressed with a lone devil and a briefcase

And so he came by with his army of his broken hearted

Strung on me into a deal

But when you show up uninvited and bring with you that bite

I think he thought he'd worn me thin
