I have seen bright blue skies

I have seen water turning to ice

I have heard songs sung by birds

There are no sensations that I've not been part of

Perception of the elements unvaried and dull

Grieving over charisma that I long buried

Waking with a numbness I cannot describe

I have touched tears of love

I have talked about the meaning of life

Though I did not say anything new

Heaven is a feeling though I can't remember

Where are all those feelings that I once enjoyed

Labourishly stern faced when things are amusing

Bringing out the laughter when the world wants to cry

Sand and sea, stone and fire and me and you

Gold and bronze rock n roll and me elementary

In my infancy life had mystery

Now the elements show through

Yes my only fault is to cross examine

Almost every thing I do

Heaven is a concept I wish to be part of

If I could find emotion there'd be more to tell

Finding it so hard to express how I'm feeling

Finding it so easy to say what the hell

Pleasure is a feeling pleasure is a feeling

Give me back those feelings that I once was part of

Bring me back my kingdom

That I might enjoy
