Misty evening in the meadow

Moonlit grass beneath my feet

In the distance a man approaches

He tries to say something to me

He offered me a ticket

For a better way to see

I asked him what he needed

He wanted nothin, nothin back from me

Walk away in a strange haze

Don't know where to go, got nothin to say

An idea comes to my mind

Take a gamble and rob em blind

I turned around and shouted

And asked to play a hand

Then it dawned upon me

That he wasn't, wasn't an ordinary man

The crooked man across the table

Laid the cards out in a fan

It came before me, a wave of uncertainty

Flip 'em over now I understand

I'd finally gone too far

I really should of held my tongue

If I had only realized
