There have been times when I felt so connected

Everything happened to me as expected

And other times when I felt I was certain

Then somebody came and they pulled back the curtain on illusion

What can we trust if not this moment

Who can we trust if not ourselves

Under a glass on a screen at the window

I caught a fly so that I could let him go

It was a moment of great satisfaction

Setting him free with a quick interaction

What can we do if not the little things

What can we be if not imagining

It's more than just ourselves

It's everything and everybody else
