歌詞
So now, when the Swap Meet chapter ended
We packed up everything
Every shirt, every candy basket
Every piece of merchandise we had worked so hard to build
And brought it all back home to my apartment
The problem was, once I saw all those boxes stacked up in my room
I knew I had outgrown the space
Now because I was rich
Not because I had made it
But because I was hungry
Hungrier than ever
The Swap Meet had showed me something important
People believed in the brand
People would spend money with us
People would support us
Now I needed a real home for the business
So I started looking everywhere
Storefronts, office spaces, small retail spots
Anything that would fit the vision
But nothing seemed to work
Either the rent was too high
The location was bad
Or the timing just wasn't right
For a while, I felt like I was chasing a ghost
Meanwhile, life kept moving
I landed a better job working security
The pay was better, the hours were steady
And for the first time in a while
I felt like I could breathe financially
The studio was still active though
Artists were still coming through
Sessions were still booked
I was still making music
Still building
Still finding ways to generate income
But none of it changed what I wanted
I wanted a real business
A place people could walk into
A place with my name on it
A place that represented everything that I had been building for years
Then one day, out of nowhere
Opportunity showed up
Funny how that happens
You spend months looking for something
But then all of a sudden it finds you
I met a guy who owned a building
Inside, there were many different rooms available for rent
Nothing fancy, just opportunity
So I took a tour, room after room
Trying to picture what was possible
Then he showed me one particular space and honestly
It was terrible
It was dirty, it was dusty, neglected
Looked like nobody had cared about it for years
Most people would've walked away from that
But I didn't
I didn't see it for what it was
I saw what it could be
The owner looked at me and said
"If you clean it yourself, I'll give it to you cheaper"
That was all I needed to hear
Because I wasn't afraid to work
Never had been
So I took the deal
I grabbed the money from my security check
The same check that most people would've spent on clothes
Parties or temporary happiness
I invested it
Not in someone else's dream
But in mine
I bought cleaning supplies
Started hauling trash
Sweeping floors, scrubbing walls
Putting in hours of work
By myself
One bucket at a time
One bag of trash at a time
One improvement at a time
People walking by probably thought I was crazy
But I knew something they didn't know
I was cleaning a room
I was building a future
Every hour I spent fixing that place
I was investing in myself
Because after all the moves
All the studios
All the jobs
All the setbacks
I finally understood the secret
Nobody was coming to save me
Nobody was going to hand me an empire
If I wanted one, I had to build it
And standing in that filthy room
Covered in sweat and dust
I made a decision
I was betting on me
Again
And this time
The stakes was getting bigger than ever
