Looking back at my older days, younger ways

Days where we don't have to pay bills and collections

Reflecting on simple moments

Family did their hardest celebrating important moments

Opening presents were a bonus

Now, I'm in a tough spot barely making rent

Don't have food stored yet

Wondering where our money's spent

Doubling down on saving cents, making no sense

Why we thinking we progressed but why am I here stressing
