Grey skies bring the brightest blues

When the lies and truths

Bring today's nights too

Despite this metronome out loud I won't repeat

It's improvisation I know but at least then it feels real

Our conversations show how we progress through this ordeal

And as you read my words follow the gust

But for me she was there in the end

To show me the way to safety

Thursdays spent redirecting

So Fridays can go smooth
