I found your half of the Wishbone

Down below the sink

By the spider webs and bleach

Oh .. that was so long ago it seems

Past the dead flies in the spider web

I reach in for the wishbone

Is God just a spider watching me?

Is God just a spider watching ,waiting for me ?

Wishbone What did you wish for on a wishbone ?

What did you wish for?

I found the seeds you bought for the garden

Over on the shelf by the winter wood pile

The chickadees chatter and the blue jays bristle

And a cold wind blows through the dead thistle

And the neck bone's connected to the collar bone.

And the collar bone's connected to the wishbone.

Wishbone . What did you wish for on a wishbone?

I don't think you got your wish

And I didn't get mine either.

The northern sky is clear and full of stars

A sea full of wishes

If I tell you what I wish for would it still come true?

If I wish health happiness and love for you always .
