Blue Xmas

It’s Christmas,

time again,

and as always,

it feels the same,

I’m feeling far from fabulous,

am I the only one,

who’s feeling blue at Christmas.

Snow’s falling,

in my heart,

I’m so cold,

feels like I’m falling apart,

I know the feeling,

being blue, at Christmas.

Well, Santa’s dressed in red,

his beard is white,

the Christmas tree is green,

with yellow shining lights,

the turkey’s golden brown,

it sure looks delicious,

am I the only one who’s feeling blue at Christmas.

Yes every year,

as I remember,

the blues hit me bad,

in the month of December,

they say it’s merry,

bright and fabulous,

am I the only one who’s feeling blue at Christmas.

People wonder,

what’s wrong with me,

every Christmas

I’m sad as can be,

even Santa,

would be suspicious,

am I the only one who’s feeling blue at Christmas,

so blue,
