There’s a certain kind of breed

Whose

Ego exceeds their logic

Who keep the peace with force

And

Forever want to bring me down

You say you uphold the right

Yeah?

The right to beat my face to a pulp or spray me in the eyes

With no reason and no warning or

Just cause

You think

You are

The law

With your handcuffs and shiny fucking badge

I wasn’t doing anything wrong

Before you beat me

Looks like you’ve chosen the world as your enemy

It’s not my fault that you are bitter

Deep down inside

Why do you have to

Take it out on me?

Well maybe nobody respects you

Cos you don’t respect anybody else

And maybe nobody likes you

Cos you are just not that likeable

And you want to make me the fiend

Because you have made yourself one too

I wasn’t hurting anybody

Before you beat me

Why do you treat me as if I’m guilty?

But just remember these words:

When you have knocked off

You are just as weak as I am

When you are sleeping

When you are dreaming

When you are shaking

You are human as well and you will

Die, too

I’m just

Like you
