Artist Biography
Yet another of the seemingly endless aliases employed by the Kasenetz-Katz production team to market their bubblegum hits of the late '60s, the unwieldily named Rock & Roll Dubble Bubble Trading Card Company of Philadelphia 19141 was among the last of the duo's projects to enjoy chart success. Their 1969 anthem "Bubble Gum Music" was written and produced by ex-Strangeloves Jerry Goldstein and Bob Feldman, and featured Kasenetz-Katz staple Joey Levine on vocals; its peak chart position of just number 74 proved a harbinger of bubblegum's imminent commercial decline, however, and the Rock & Roll Dubble Bubble Trading Card Company of Philadelphia 19141 moniker was not used again. ~ Jason Ankeny
