Eat the peach
Until the pit
As you grow older
Let its gentle fuzz
Remind your lips
Of all the bodies
That you've kissed
May your time
Be as deep
As sea-dark wine
That last
Red, sweet drop
Cradled in the divot of the glass
Tender crimson
Doomed to dry
Break no tooth
Lapping like a dog
Between the legs of life!
Live as thief who's testing sin
And let the juice
Drip down your chin!
And for when you must
The sleeve is for your spit
But eat that peach
Until the pit
