Time Faded

There's always a day after An end to all the laughter It's never finished It's never done If it would be then I am lost Suddenly it all hit at once The intro dropped, after several months I wandered astray Got stuck in thought And I've been starting to find a glimpse Of what I'm yearning to become Wandered into the fields Felt my hearthpace speeding When suddenly I stopped And I stood still As the light faded And the cold came in I don't know how long it lasted Don't know how time had faded There's always a day after An end to all the laughter It stood right before me But only in the end I saw the perfect shape Of a winter tree There was no movement except a mild wind And the slow setting of the November sun Wandered into the fields Felt my heartpace speeding When suddenly I stopped And I stood still As the light faded And the cold came in I don't know how long it lasted Don't know how time had faded That night everything just felt surreal Experiencing a tension I didn't know I could feel A tension between what I have achieved And what I believe to be I know I've said to have been on the turning point I've said to have been there before Overwhelmed by all the sounds And a new sense of balance (Wandered into the fields Felt my heartpace speeding) It's about mistakes and learning to make them It's about realizing errors appear on a daily basis It's about solving the questions all of this raises It's the process of unifying with the person you are trying to oppress
