About Narcotic Wasteland
In the artist’s words:
Describe one of your earliest musical memories in detail.
Dallas Toler-Wade’s musical journey began around age five or six, when he discovered chords on an electric keyboard and tried singing along.
What are your top 3 all-time favorite albums on Apple Music, and why? Why did you choose these three albums in particular?
Bolt Thrower, War Master
D.R.I., Dealing With It
Sanctuary, Refuge Denied
I chose these albums because each captures a different side of heavy music: Sanctuary’s razor-sharp intensity, D.R.I.’s raw punk-rock energy, and Bolt Thrower’s crushing weight. Their riffs, vocals, and atmosphere move me to the core.
Find a song of yours on Apple Music that you love and tell us what makes it special. Tell us why you chose this song.
“Bleed and Swell”
I chose “Bleed and Swell” because the music perfectly captures the lyrics’ portrayal of watching someone self-destruct. Its intensity and atmosphere make that sense of helplessness feel painfully real.
