About NateWantsToBattle
Musician and voiceover artist Nathan Sharp, better known as NateWantsToBattle, built a dedicated following with alt-rock covers of anime themes and songs inspired by video games.
∙ Sandcastle Kingdoms, his first full-length to feature completely original material, landed on top of the iTunes Alternative Albums chart in 2017.
∙ In partnership with producer/singer-songwriter Shawn Christmas, he launched Give Heart Records, an indie label that’s also home to his metalcore side-project, Ghost Fight.
∙ The popularity of his emo-pop single “Phantom,” which has more than three million views online, helped push 2018’s Paid in Exposure to No. 11 on Billboard’s Heatseekers Chart.
∙ He’s voiced several video game characters, including Chad in the critically acclaimed 2064: Read Only Memories and Craig Cahn in the smash hit Dream Daddy: A Dad Dating Simulator.
NateWantsToBattle has also released music as a member of Big Bad Bosses.
