A gritty country-rock band with a knack for vivid storytelling, the Oklahoma outfit Turnpike Troubadours was instrumental in bringing the Red Dirt sound to the mainstream.
∙ Just a few months after forming in 2007, the band self-released their debut album, Bossier City.
