Under a barking moon

The dogs howl for you all night

But where is the light in me

On the dark part of the street

Where no one wants to go

It’s where I call home

I hear bells ringing

Saying the sun is coming up

And it sounds like angels singing

Telling me I need to straighten up

My bones they ache

And hands they shake

And nothing can calm me down

Once the night’s around
