Venus and Mars II

Venus and Mars are places we can go

We can shape the planets and find our silken road

And when we feel we fly on our own

We make our heartache stand alone

Then our hard road shapes our hearts ‘til still

Heat and a breeze

They’d welcome us to stay

We can shake the past

And love another day

And when we feel our blood’s running thin

We halt our breath let the aura in

Our hard road and our daunting race is done!

Done!

It was a hard road and all because we had to pave it

We never stared back in space for fear we would not make it

And when I think of it, the universe is there to take it

But when I really dig deep I know that I just cannot make it
