Astray from Light

Wandering through the noise and dirt

of pollution and chaos

I've lost my path a long time ago

shattered, hopeless and isolated

i turn my back on this mind erasing life

once fertile grounds now reek of death

still digging deeper to satisfy the needs

with trembling hands

swayed by the corrupt dream

of corporate greed

in these mountains of desolation

my soul retrieves it's youth

here in the harshness

of rock, rivers and forests

nothing shall take my hate
