For Christmas, I would like to see

A lot more love and harmony

Miles of smiles and laughter too

Memories old and memories new

More than all the precious gifts

we have wrapped with care

This is my Christmas prayer

  

What I want for Christmas

Might just sound a bit naïve

But we can have a little peace on Earth

I still believe

Let love, joy and kindness flood the atmosphere

That’s what I want for Christmas this year

  

For Christmas, wouldn’t it be nice

If every list we’re checking twice

Sang a song of gratitude

And every hope could be renewed

As the light of Christmas dawns

Upon the Earth at last

Let every heart be glad
