WurlD is the recording name of singer-songwriter Sadiq Onifade, an electro-fusion musician from Nigeria.
∙ In 2015, he had a top 20 singles chart hit in Poland with “Follow You,” a collaboration with the Polish DJ Gromee.
∙ “Better Days,” a collaboration with Sir Felix, was the official anthem for the 2016 DelfSail, a Dutch event featuring tall ships.
∙ At the 2019 Headies, one of Nigeria’s most prestigious awards ceremonies, he won Best Male Vocal Performance for “Wishes and Butterflies.”
∙ In addition to releasing solo work, he cowrote “I Know” for Georgia rapper B.o.B. and “Blow My Mind,” a 2019 hit for the Nigerian star Davido.
