Just kidding We're just kidding When ya catch us and say, "Please don't do it that way" When ya say, "It's no use!" That's our only excuse We're just kidding, only kidding Don't forget what you did back when you were a kid But remember, remember Remember that kids are just kidding I want to do just like I should But sometimes it's hard to be good I wish I could get it in gear But the rules go out my other ear Like when I'm caught in the hall As I sneak down the wall Teacher looks down at me "And where are you supposed to be?" That's our only excuse We're just kidding I want to slide out of my seat And find me some junk food to eat I really could learn if I tried But I'm not sure how brains are applied, (Ooo) Oh my teacher's influential, but I'm not up to my potential And when I get home they say, "And what did you learn today?" (I mean whose job is it anyway?) (Is it the teacher's job that kids learn at school?) (Is it the Principal's job that kids learn at school?) (Maybe it's parent's job that kids learn at school?) (Ya know what I think, I think it's everybody's job.)
