Thought about running while I tried to hide

We didn't come out till June

Probably should've waited till the 4th of July

Like spending all those evenings warming by the fire

Underneath the blankets, the view was perfect

I could stay down under there all year, you're perfect

We thought up crazy things

February came and went like lovers do

I made the bed, I washed a dish or two

That time let us to take a step back and see

Plan the way we always wanted our lives to be
