Turkey, turkey. Can you see me flying?

Oh, there's no denying

That I'm always trying. Oh

Turkey, turkey. I climbed a tree

Just to see what other birdies can see

Oh the sky! So majestic and beautiful

I wish I could fly but that's currently not doable

That time will come when I don't need trees

And when I flap my wings I'll start riding the breeze

I'll soar high in the sky, deep in the clouds

And generally anywhere where turkeys are allowed

Oh, the sea. It's out of my reach

To be deep in the ocean blue. That's my wish

To be able to communicate directly with fish

I believe that my wait will end

I'll be a turkey of the sea with an octopus for a friend

We'll forget all our troubles. We'll laugh at all the bubbles

For now I'll prepare by standing in puddles

 

And someday I'll mark my place

As the the first turkey in outer space

I'll float with the stars! Won't it be great?

I just need a rocket a turkey can operate

I'll do it all. You wait and see
