Like the Garden of Eden I was Adam, you were Eve All that we needed You my Queen, I your King But in snuck temptation Like an apple on a tree Shining so brightly You slipped away from me In dreams I remember What life was before Shadows of memories Then you closed that door Cast out of heaven Into a stranger's arms Lust turned to bruises Cuts so deep in my heart Propelled together Compelled to meld A Beautiful chaos Into the warm we fell Hand through my chest To rip out my heart And I let you have it I played my part You own my soul But left my body to fade Now I'm falling and flailing Tragic dance on a blade Out of my body Losing control This prison of greed Has taken its toll When all has but fallen Hopeless as it seems I'll rise up and love We are kings and queens
