Stagger Inn (Again)

Sitting back here before the show

In the office by the stockroom, it's closed

Filled with bottles and cans.

We got wine, whiskey and gin.

We got everything that a man or a woman could want

And the back room was filled with smoke.

Dusty papers and a beer sign, it's broke.

Waiting is the hardest part.

Waiting for nine o' clock.

Cause that's when it's time to rock.

To step on the small stage

With black and white tile

That was all the rage in 1974.

At the Stagger Inn. At the Stagger Inn.

Many times I stole a kiss.

In the alley that led you all into this.

Stepped inside the swinging doors.
