I carry myself a way when i\'m dealing with people on the business/

Whether I\'m always late or I never communicate decisions/

Or i be flaking out, blaming my problems on someone else/

Call myself building a resume. By doing this, how is this gonna help?/

I had a good friend of mine, connect me with his great friend/

Someone that is a higher up, that type of situation/

Someone he built a repor with for over 16 years/

Even with me knowing that here i am just shifting gears/

Going behind his back to meet up with his great friend quicker/

Creating my own situation to cut him out the picture/

I\'m being sneaky but cover it with some pleasntries/

Then i\'m sitting here wondering why people don\'t mess with me/

I\'m so nit-picky on what I want, but I don\'t follow through/

Have you feeling i\'m helping you out, but really, i\'m just helping me/

And i just rinse and repeat, im doing this as you get older/

Talking the same game, the same jokes, just so I can smooth it over/

But I notice things would change up when I would step in the room/

People end up stepping away, just by me standing right next to you/

I overheard this guy, offer my friend a job that was next in line/

Then this guy found out that we were friends and was like never mind/

It\'s like everywhere I go, folks, back off. I think that\'s outrageous/

But how I carry myself would spread out it would be contagious/

And it\'s bad across the board, from relationships to friendships/
