My hair looks crazy

It’s been bugging me lately

So mad it can’t be

A straight pattern oh baby

Yeah I know the struggle

And it won’t vanish tomorrow

It’s so hard to be black

But you need to know that

You’re just making it much harder for yourself

If they make fun of your appearance well then tell

Tell them your melanin brown skin precious as gold

Stays undefeatable and is unbreakable

Just know that BLACK is super beautiful (beautiful)

Don’t try to change it cuz it’s perfect

They will try to break you down

But they can’t

There are ways to make your skin more light

But your black skin is already bright

People hate my skin oh that’s so lame

Cuz Dark or white or light skin we the same

Agree to disagree, but this is so wrong

Taught to hate ourselves for so damn long

Waiting for a chance, gotta stay strong

Whatsoever yeah the damage been done

This will make you think that being black is like a crime,

Which is why these people crossed the line,

Our negative reflection is created by the system,

So ignore the pressure and use your wisdom!
