Dark Descent

The weight of our past mistakes can be a heavy burden to bear

Memories linger deep in the corners of our conscious minds

Letting go of what we once held close to our hearts

can be tough pill to swallow

A sense of dread rises from the shadows

It burrows deep in my consciousness

Waiting to feed

Fear looms beyond a dark horizon

Surrounded by my fears I'm unable to breathe

I bear the weight, of terrible darkness

Became entranced with this feeling of madness

Everlasting

I know this can't go on, there has to be an end My mind is spiraling, into an endless dark descent
