Trauma changes us
I've witnessed myself do a whole 180
Fell off many times in my marriage,
In retaliation
Rebellion and just simply making the wrong decisions
Been major shifts and many changes
Sometimes it feels like its too late to be corrected
To revert back
With all the love and growing pains,
That relationship shaped me in many ways as a woman
The love was deep, the laughs were hearty
The union was solid for some time
Real and unconditional
I don't regret a thing and I'm grateful for the journey
