Well I’m 69 years old and I can say

I ain’t goin’ to fight in no man’s war today

Don’t want nobody as old as me

Well someday you’ll get there too

And the same thing’s gonna happen to you

When you’re young and dumb

Your birthdays come too fast

When you get a little older then it - uh

Won’t make you feel so bad

Just like an old dog

When you can’t learn new tricks

Somethin’ needs to be fixed

Have a cup of afternoon wine

Take your breakfast in the evening ‘cause ya

Got no sense of time when you’re 69
