It’s ironic how being lifted can take you under/

Remain humble pride comes before the stumble/

Everything you tryna build will crumble like the Tower of Babel/

And those who you saw in last will be cruising past you/

>I remember leaning on my own understanding/

Nothing ever worked out how I planned it/

Shortcuts and scamming/

Cold cuts and Ramen/

Came thru in the clutch now I got much higher standards for my daughter like a oughta/

Every generation should go farther than the previous/

Point em to the father and make sure they know who Jesus is/

Don’t squander their inheritance on lustfulness and greediness look at me yall seeing this? Vain glory/

Different year same story Fear God follow his commands/

On your knees in prayer is how you take a stand/

You feeling fly, well eventually you’ll have to land/

You’ll either do it gracefully or you’ll run out of gas/
