Little Me

Little me life can be sweet little me felt so defeated but little me

For years but years are only days

a couple days and you will be fine

And living is a funny thing it feels

When you’re just suffering

It’s not a life you simply survive

And so it stays a few more days

But all will change I promise that

Keep holding on

You will be alright

Little me kicked on the ground

Little me has nightmares every night

But will sleep better in time

Little me you’re on your own

And that’s okay it’s just for now

A whole world out there you’ll get to know

And living is a funny thing it stays the same until you blink

Now ten years older

nothing is like it’s been

and living on seemed pointless then

Been wishing it would simply end but little things add up to a new life
