I try to hold my breath, be invisible

Nothing to find or see

But when my feet touch down, it’s a miracle

Remember back when I was posted on the first floor,

Questioning why I'm paying dues when I’m dirt poor,

A lot of L’s a lot of try and fails, but I just kept my head down and I worked more,

So even though the bar is outta sight, I got the goal within reach,

Yeah I done slipped up and fell down, but always rose to my feet,

I made the most out the least, while staying close to the purpose,

Going overboard and still having ten toes on the surface

I’m getting used to people folding their hands,

Saying “I'll be damned, ain't no way that boy’s really the man”,

But yeah I think it's time you try to understand that I am him,

I walk on water and they say it’s cus’ I can't swim,

First floor no elevator I’m gone take the stairs,

Growing up taught me to be careful who I’m rocking with,

A lot of folks suddenly making claims that they rooting for my uprise,

When really they been praying for the opposite
