Talking to Heaven

Know that I've been praying lately

Like I have never have before

Whisper wishes to the darkness

Though I ain't darkened a church door

Cause when your train runs off the railway

You find that when it rains it pours

Can't find the courage to go on sunday

Too red with shame to face the lord

I know if Jesus looked upon me

He'd ask me child why do you cry?

Haven't I given all my blessings

And His word to hide behind

I find it hard to cherish graces

I know damn well I don't deserve
