A suitcase full of numbers

An entry I forgot

A poem about walking

We used to walk a lot

Back and forth, just killing days

I wish I had the clarity I have today

What a waste, such a crying shame

It hurts to think I'd probably do it all again

You held it against me

And I held it against me

You almost convinced me

But I couldn't hold anything at all

And even then, I think I knew

There was never somewhere safe that we were walking to

I think you agree, let's not pretend

We knew right when it started, it would always end

La-la-la-la-la-la-la

La-la-la-la-la, la-la

La-la-la-la-la, la-la

Will time free me?

Will I ever learn?
