I've been in love with you for three years

I know I shouldn't be

But every sign points to us being a perfect fit

Every passing moment a reminder of what we could have

With time I've come to accept that we'll probably never be more than friends

But I can't help but think sometimes

What if it's meant to be us?

What if it's meant to be more than just an occasional text

Our paths have crossed so many times that it can't just be a coincidence

The waiting game is one that I hate to play, but I have to ask myself
