I never saw how it all began, Such a gradual shift in life

I remember being young and free, such better days i swear i saw in my youth

There's just something about growing older, the burden of a realization to what life really means Another copy of the cast our fathers made, I swear I knew what I wanted but in the chaos I've let it slip

Turning 24 I knew a change must come, I just can't continue on the same path I will find my own I can stand alone, my life up until this very moment is proof that I will overcome any obstacle, any poor decision and I will still rise above those who only wish to see me fail
