A founding member of synth-pop pioneers Art of Noise, Anne Dudley is a prolific, decorated composer. But she is arguably more cherished for her deft work as writer, arranger and musician on so many pop songs over the years. She arranged strings on Will Young’s “Leave Right Now” and the Spice Girls’ “Viva Forever”—not to mention her hand in works from acts as diverse as a-ha, Tina Turner and Pulp.
