As guest curator of the month, singer and songwriter Stefanie Sun (Yanzi) shares a new playlist of her picks every week. Starting off, the multi-talented Sun draws comparisons between music and another of her passions – art – with a collection of acoustic tracks that she pictures as loose sketches. “Ever since I started learning to paint, I've discovered music and visual art are actually very similar. Artistic styles are like musical styles, each representing a unique personality. I've been listening to a lot of unplugged and acoustic music lately. Just the pure, fresh, sound of a guitar and simple accompaniment is like a sketch. It gives you a very comfortable, clean and natural feeling.”
