Missing The 1:45

I caught a train back from Sydney in December I was doing it tough

The night before I remember a pint of beer turned into shots

Met up with friends, saw some bands, still cannot comprehend where we ended up

Caught the sites of the city through my eyes what a pity they were almost shut

We made it back home just in time for the sun to rise

A common time to get home, a common time for you and I

I know I tell myself that I will “never do this again”

That the sickness ain’t worth it, it’s just not worth a cent

It’s 3am, I’m waiting all by myself 

Oh, not again, this can’t be good for my health

Another night, another long night ahead 

I’m such a sucker for a punish with a long list of drunken friends
