Psalm 86

Incline Your ear, O Lord, and answer me For I am afflicted and needy Preserve my soul, for I am a godly man O You my God, save Your servant who trusts in You Be gracious to me, O Lord For to You I cry all day long Hear my cry Lord Lord, I'm overloaded while running this race Let me draw near to you and come to your grace I feel tired and worn my heart disenchanted Chances are not guarding it left it damaged It's heavy with heartache and filled with pain It's sunny outside but my soul feels rain Torn with torrents my heart is grieving Over my mistakes and how they were misleading Not allowing Christ to be sufficient Focused on pleasure kept you at a distant Bleak and a mess feeling weak and depressed Father God, I need relief from my stress My life is more than me avoiding my sin But knowing God and finding enjoyment in Him My sin has me crushed, please lift this burden Give me your peace; heal this heart that's hurting Hear me Lord and show me your grace Teach me Lord and show me your ways Give me strength though my soul is weary Give me your favor and show you hear me Hear me Lord and show me your grace Teach me Lord and show me your ways Give me strength though my soul is weary Give me your favor and show you hear me Can't use will power my will's not powerful Fighting on your own your flesh will devour you Create a self-image, build self-esteem But it's worthless if it's not found in Elohim You can't use you to try to satisfy you Imperfection to find perfection won't gratify dude Know who you are but do you know who you're not You're not perfection with you positive thoughts We are not self-sufficient but we're not defeated There's Grace in God, In Christ we're completed But only those who believe this'll bring comfort Those without relationship will sit and wonder What to do when the thrill is gone Where's the satisfaction and the facts will dawn That nothing can mend our heart's infirmities Except Christ as our hearts long for eternity Hear me Lord and show me your grace Teach me Lord and show me your ways Give me strength though my soul is weary Give me your favor and show you hear me Hear me Lord and show me your grace Teach me Lord and show me your ways Give me strength though my soul is weary Give me your favor and show you hear me There's none like you though many try to mimic Being mini gods but can't compare to your image They don't come close to playing your role As you deliver men's soul from the depths of Sheol Your steadfast love is great and has me excited Teach me your ways so my heart may be undivided Inviting you to be my pleasure and my portion May view of you have no more distortions Even my day of trouble let me see contentment You are my comforter let me seek repentance For not trusting you to be my source of delight Let me cling to you and have my course be precise Walking in truth in your word let me meditate My hope is Yahweh, not just a better day For I know you give true security and serenity You love is wonderful even without amenity Hear me Lord and show me your grace Teach me Lord and show me your ways Give me strength though my soul is weary Give me your favor and show you hear me Hear me Lord and show me your grace Teach me Lord and show me your ways Give me strength though my soul is weary Give me your favor and show you hear me Hear me Lord and show me your grace Teach me Lord and show me your ways Give me strength though my soul is weary Give me your favor and show you hear me Hear me Lord and show me your grace Teach me Lord and show me your ways Give me strength though my soul is weary Give me your favor and show you hear me
