Lyrics

Help me find me, I'm lost inside of my canvas
Colorizing my image is my only means to manage
Being so lost is the only way that we'd understand it
Or- Start to understand it
Not that I would be the man you'd ask, I'd at least parlay some change on that
I could walk away from everything, but after everything, I know that's not the way to act
The trick ain't just to make it, it's to make it with your brain intact
I said I never left, but they all say"he's back"
I take opinions and I turn them into facts
I get wisdom from my angels, and I write them in my raps
I write a couple wrongs by not lying to my moms
And not lying to my girl, and not fighting with my past
My last chapter took a toll, but took a lot of mess away
Took some hope, and regret, and a whole lot more than my breath away
Ask me when the last I've seen these shadows, I'll say yesterday
But that shit's just a way to evade it and not have to explain
I walked the gap, only to fall into the void below me
I picked an apple off the only tree they deemed unholy
Only to find that it grew different over time
There's only poison in your mind, while this just had a different path to show me
They say it's lonely at the top, but I'll just say it's lonely
At the bottom it was lonely too, without a thing below me
If you only knew how difficult it became to control me
You would only stew on how the hell I ain't let it all own me
To tell the truth, I did
My walls started talking to me in the room I live
I got strewn to bits, when my moon eclipsed it stayed dark
And I believed that I'd be doomed, a kid with a stray heart
I watched a quasar rearrange my stars
People fall in and out my life, and rearrange my scars
So, it's hard to come to knowing you ain't come that far
And it's probably best I stay away from the terrain I carved
Yeah
