I crossed over into this year with a certain feeling of stillness

Regression from failed promises, crushed dreams and lost hopes

I got up and got to work

I got down on my knees and I found a saving grace

I found a feeling deep within, a sense of dedication

And this will to acquire knowledge befell

The persistent search for constant growth has opened my mind to the pure essence that I've become

The oneness between the I that you see, and the I that I feel

The feeling was solely encountered deep within because I didn't want to move on from the boy

The boy that I was years ago when I first found a feeling of ecstacy

The boy that I was years ago when I first knew the boys

The sad boy that lost his way home

The sad boy that have been on a self-discovery journey

An unending struggle to know who he truly was

To answer what caused all he faced

To learn why he faced what he encountered daily

And learn to love what was absolutely mine

And embrace the letting go of that which certainly wasn't

This is the story of my personal crisis
