Took really long to make it where i stay today,

but through the unity, service, and recovery I can be.

Yes i used to think i was a free bird,

What’s freedom for you?

I think about it every day, but never see it through.

I think its gotta be just like a dream come true,

where everything you ever needed comes to you.

So you can just sit back for a few and simmer down,

knowing nobody can fuck up how you feelin’ right now.

I’m still tryna find it and its not yet found,

but they say everything that goes around comes around.

We’re just humans,

so in the end you gotta through it to get to it. For me, you, and everyone we all have a path to pick,

will I come back or will I put my back to it. Will I go back the way I came after this,

or will I find another way that I can pass through this.
