Lyrics

A miraculous moment, exact with every act that put me back into focus, relapsed too many traps and had to crack for exposure of my back to the attacks of every snake and the posers. My life seemed so pristine and balanced by the extremes of big scenes and alibis I fit the mold so perfectly and barely tried my image I constructed had felt galvanized. The definite definition of "Good Kid" the prevalent repetition of true gifts it was all in a purpose positioned in pandemics to keep working and serving a grand mission. Life is a wonder to wander and get a feel for until the conquering of it just seems impure, like why do I feel the need to be the man with answers? while I question the section of those progressing faster. In the midst of my introspect I get a text an image I had to download to see the rest once it completed it showed a pregnancy test with a message that simply read "we effed up Jeff." Barely taken back at all the moment had seemed small and innate in a way I was straight kept my cool and replied with the word "OK" that's all I could say and then went on with my day. I'll never know why I was so at ease, probably cause who sent the text was a certainty in my heart as easily my wife to be. No ring graced her hand at the time, no proposal was made, not a plan in my mind, but a peace had increased in that moment for sure placed itself in my heart and I knew it was pure. I know this all sounds unrealistic, but stick with me cause trust me the story pivots. Along side the strong vibe of how am I's and what ifs I trusted what was supplied and ratified my tattered times as valid lines to guide sight to the future of the rest of my life. (Chorus: Just a moment to take it all in. i've been chosen to raise my sins repeat)
No surprise when the word had dropped in I was terrified and voted adoption reality clashed. Keeping connection with God your mom and you was pressure to me, I was scared of how to make 3 relationships last. The stress had passed but no one asked if any of me was intact. I guess most just don't even really know how to react so either you get a look or a simple "congrats" Something I gotta say, i've thought about it for days when the news hit it seemed people had stepped away but with time surrounded us in prayer which I don't downplay and i'm thankful we saw humans give Gods grace and find ways to help us with this stage so we can anticipate Laya J. but nobody prayed til they saw that we got engaged i'm just sayin. And baby girl this song doesn't break the significance of your existence. Daddy's just dealing with feeling a little winded, when did God know your purpose and given name? long before his blood ever entered your veins So God as you sent your only child down to the world to save the lame in and the after life I send mine to you in sacrifice I Do The Same.
